Outside size and the assumed clear interior

Net dimensions describe a wall-face rectangle. They do not establish usable bird area or subtract fittings, storage and working space. Historical flock counts remain unverified until bird type, outdoor access and confinement conditions are assessed.
The assumed human opening is 24 in wide × 30 in high; the right-side bird opening is 12 in wide. Hinge, swing and finished clear passage need a selected assembly.

Access project
Make a full-size clean-out trial
A temporary hatch and floor outline reveals awkward reach before timber is cut.
- Mark the assumed clear floor rectangle from the current layout and label the service side. Do not use the exterior footprint as the inside measurement.
- Set a temporary opening at the proposed finished height. Keep the mock-up unsupported for loading: it represents space, not a platform.
- Put a small removable marker in each rear corner. Try to retrieve each with the actual tool while remaining outside.
- Move the waste container through the whole removal route, including handles and turns. Adjust the opening arrangement or choose another form when a corner remains inaccessible.
Can you clean the far corner while standing outside?
Mark the hatch movement and stand with the actual scoop and container at each service position. Keep enough accessible working space for the whole job, or compare a walk-in arrangement before choosing this form.

Collect eggs through the front outside nest lid; reach feed and water through the service panel. Test both refill lifts at full size.

F and W reserve separate 12 × 12 in equipment envelopes away from the rear roost zone. They are illustrative positions; bird access and the refill lift need a product-specific check.
Inspect the floor and openings
Follow the visible route, inspect beneath fittings and check the service and bird openings before closing up.
Remove bedding
Stand outside. Remove supplies and the removable roost, then draw bedding out through the front service opening. The opposite corner remains an unverified reach.
