Corrections and Update Policy

If a factual claim, source link, diagram label or editorial boundary needs correction, we review the supporting evidence and update the relevant page. Meaningful corrections are not hidden inside routine publishing changes.

See the editorial standard

Original editorial framework

How this standard works in practice.

  1. 01Identify the affected guidance

Check the page, source, claim and visual label involved before changing a published answer.

  2. 02Recheck the support

Use the primary source and stated conditions to distinguish a factual correction from a preference or a local rule.

  3. 03Update related references

When a core claim changes, review every linked page and information asset that relies on it.

How to report an issue.

Include the page, material version and drawing, part or step that needs attention. The form below prepares a private report and explains whether submission is available. Only a saved receipt confirms that we received it.

Document changes

Check what changed before revising your project.

These changes describe the materials in this website build. Review dates identify the editorial record. A saved project and its downloaded files keep their recorded versions until you choose a change.

Separate work scopes for wood, slab and repair-first conversions

Version 2.0.0 · reviewed 2026-09-08 · C01–C08 / Conversion stages 1–6

Actions and material descriptions now follow the recorded starting condition. Your quantities, supplier notes and measured dimensions stay as entered. Older worksheets retain their original guidance until you choose the update.

Open the conversion worksheet, review the updated guidance and keep the original file before applying v2. Then reconcile its scope with your quote.

Measured doors, maintenance areas and equipment removal

Version 1.3.0 · reviewed 2026-09-08 · Interior geometry / Door sweep / M maintenance area / R removal corridor

Current rules check recorded door motion and independent equipment operating envelopes. The isometric explanation uses recorded heights. Missing measurements remain unknown, so older files do not gain passed checks automatically.

Open the layout editor and review its rule upgrade. The editor preserves a pre-upgrade copy before applying the change. Record actual measurements before relying on the new checks.

Five operation states for three explicit care examples

Version 2.0.0 · reviewed 2026-09-08 · routine / narrow-door / removable

Each example now pairs normal use, release, removal, cleaning and reset with its own geometry and printable sequence. The narrow-door case keeps the full-size waterer removal unresolved; using a smaller carrier does not make the larger item fit.

Compare the example with your actual room and equipment. Importing an example requires a replacement preview and does not revise a saved layout or construction document automatically.

Optional measured entrances, roof outlines, setbacks and turning circles

Version 1.0.0 · reviewed 2026-09-08 · Yard site record v1 / E entrance zones / T turning envelopes

Add measurements to each building or outdoor area. Its openings and roof outline follow rotation and mirror. Connections require opposing openings; turning circles must fit connected clear route rectangles. Roof and setback sources remain explicit.

Use the yard controls to opt into these measurements. Existing files keep their recorded geometry; no entrance source or local setback result is invented.

The fixed Walk-In construction baseline remains v1.1.0. These layout and care updates do not replace its member sizes, purchase quantities or open construction decisions. The six new construction configurations are not released by this record.
